photography

Yes, I take photos as well. I've been doing it my whole life.

I was raised with a small technical marketing agency working out of our living room and some of my earliest memories are of accompanying my mother on photo shoots as a "grip."

Professionally, I cut my teeth at that same agency taking pictures of sewage treatment plants, tractor/trailers and laboratory equipment.

Later, during my college years, I worked for an event photographer shooting graduations, weddings and fraternity parties where I earned beer and cigarette money learning the lyrics to the Sir Mix-a-lot classic "Baby's Got Back."

These days, in lieu of formal technical skill, I like to photograph small, accidental moments, relying on intuition and genuine connections with my subjects.

I tend to mostly shoot digitally out of ease but believe that if the world were perfect I would forever walk the Earth with an endless supply of film for my beloved Polaroid 250 Land camera.
